Our Construction Law attorneys will discuss changes in lien waiver law, important construction contract clauses, labor and employment issues, construction news on government relations, and the industry's economic outlook during the Construction Conversations Breakfast from 8:00 a.m. to 10 a.m. The morning sessions are designed for construction industry executives and professionals, including engineers, architects, surveyors, and equipment providers.
Then our Business attorneys will present a Closely Held Business Briefing for private business owners, managers, and stakeholders. From 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., we'll take a deep dive into business succession considerations, non-competes, CBD in the workplace, data security risks, and other hot topics affecting closely held businesses. All construction professionals are invited to stay for the Closely Held Business Briefing; however, we ask you to indicate this on your RSVP. And stick around for our networking and lunch.
