Hannah has a multifaceted litigation practice that focuses on personal injury, business litigation, insurance coverage and litigation, and a variety of other matters. She has represented clients in diverse civil litigation matters at both state and federal levels. She is dedicated to helping clients from the initial proceedings all the way up to litigation, offering comprehensive legal assistance no matter the situation.
Before joining Ward and Smith full-time, Hannah had already distinguished herself as a summer associate with her exceptional work ethic and dedication.

One surprising thing people don’t know about me is: I am an avid solo traveler. I recently traveled to France, Spain, Portugal, and Greece.
Where I’d like to live and why: I’m thrilled to be living in Asheville. From hiking to amazing restaurants, this is a fun and vibrant community that I am lucky to be a part of.

- Representation of woman who suffered serious injuries after being jumped on by a neighbor’s dog. Claim resolved for $320,000.
- Representation of small nonprofit lender in claims against it for negligence and breach of contract. The court granted summary judgment in our client’s favor on all claims.
- Representation of motel owner covered by an applicable insurance policy where insurer refused coverage. Claim resolved for $325,000.
- Representation of woman who suffered broken bones after she was struck by a vehicle while walking in a parking lot. Claim resolved for $270,000.
- Settled matters with pre-litigation negotiation related to breach of contract and insurance policyholders issues.
- Representation of local businesses in various business and contract disputes.
