Attorney Taylor Rodney Marks Chosen for Prestigious NCAJ NEXT Program

Taylor Rodney

Attorney Taylor Rodney Marks is taking her leadership to the next level.

She is one of 20 young trial attorneys participating in the 2023 North Carolina Advocates for Justice (NCAJ) NEXT Program.

NEXT aims to engage the newer generation of litigators in North Carolina through education, foster an environment to build strong relationships, and prepare participants for the day when they assume important leadership roles with their communities and the profession.

Each month through June, attorneys will participate in skill-building activities, including learning from experienced lawyers; educating themselves on diversity, inclusion, and implicit biases; and training for a board position.

Taylor joins previous NEXT Program graduate X. Lightfoot as a Ward and Smith representative in this prestigious program.

Taylor is a litigation and personal injury attorney in the firm's Wilmington office. Her practice focuses on cases involving car accidents, medical malpractice, premises liability, and product liability, among other areas. She also devotes some of her practice to trusts and estates and business litigation.
