Ward and Smith Grows Triangle Real Estate and Creditors' Rights Practices

Adding more depth to the firm's Real Estate and Creditors' Rights bench, Ward and Smith welcomes attorneys Jeff Bandini and Danny Brader. Both will practice out of the firm's Raleigh office.

Jeff BandiniJeff is a seasoned real estate attorney with more than two decades of experience representing public and private clients in real estate, real estate development, and zoning and land use matters. His practice is multi-faceted, focusing on a wide range of services in real estate planning, development, procurement, and management.

Prior to joining Ward and Smith, Jeff served as North Carolina State University's Associate Vice Chancellor of Real Estate and Development. He was responsible for the strategic development of the school's Centennial Campus and strategic management of NC State's 100,000+ acre real-estate portfolio.

"Jeff brings a breadth of knowledge and experience to the firm that not only expands our real estate practice but also provides greater support for our clients who hold large institutional real estate portfolios," remarked Brad Evans, Ward and Smith's Co-Managing Director.

Danny BraderDanny joins the firm's creditors' rights practice, representing banks and financial institutions in Chapter 7, 11, and 13 bankruptcy matters including automatic stay, objections to proposed bankruptcy plans, and challenges to the valuation of collateral. He defends banks and lenders in debt collection, foreclosure proceedings, and claim and delivery actions.

"We believe Danny's experience complements our already well-established creditors' rights practice. We are thrilled to welcome both Danny and Jeff to our team," Brad stated.
