About Me

  • The best thing about Ward and Smith is how supportive everyone is. From the day I began as a summer intern, everyone at the firm readily offered advice and assistance.  It's due in no small part to the efforts of everyone at Ward in Smith that I was not only excited but confident to begin practicing.
  • I became a lawyer because I understood that navigating the legal system is an intimidating process, particularly for those experiencing an already stressful and challenging time in their lives. Having someone who cares and is willing to advocate for you can go a long way in managing those difficulties. I joined the profession to be that person for others.
  • One surprising thing people don't know about me is that I enjoy cooking. Although I'm not much of a fan of the cleanup process, cooking itself is a fun way to experiment with new ideas.  It doesn't always turn out the way I hope, and I'm certainly no professional chef, but when everything comes together just right, it's extremely satisfying.
